CLAYTON A. WHEAT, OF COUNSEL
Clayton joined the firm in May of 2023. Before joining our firm, Clayton worked with nationally recognized oil and gas law firms in Houston, and as a landman in the Uintah Basin and Eagle Ford Shale.  Clayton is licensed to practice law in Texas (Oil, Gas, and Energy Resources Section) and North Dakota (Real Property, Trusts, and Probate Section). Clayton grew up in Sugar Land, Texas.  Clayton’s extensive oil and gas practice is focused on leasing, regulatory & acquisition issues, and oil and gas title opinions. 

He is a member of the Houston Producer’s Forum, Houston Association for Professional Landmen, West Houston Association of Petroleum Landmen, and the Sons of the Republic of Texas.
