GUILLERMO “JEFF” BENAVIDES, ASSOCIATE ATTORNEY
As an Associate Attorney, Guillermo “Jeff” Benavides practices law for Alford & O’Brien that involves the rendering of all forms of title opinions, including drilling opinions and division orders. In addition, Jeff also offers support to solar energy companies in connection with subsurface issues, including but not limited to mineral title opinions and document preparation.

Prior to joining our firm, Jeff practiced commercial litigation, specializing in complex business litigation and financial institution litigation, for over four years. Jeff has been admitted to practice law in all state courts in the State of Texas, the Western District of Texas, and the Southern District of Texas. 

As a South Texas land and mineral owner, Jeff has experience in oil and gas lease negotiations, oil and gas terminology, and oil and gas markets. He also has experience negotiating and drafting wind and solar leases.
