JOSH VAN MAELE, OF COUNSEL
Josh Van Maele is Of Counsel at Alford & O'Brien, PC and focuses his practice in the area of oil, gas and mineral law and Texas title examination. He regularly prepares title opinions for clients with operations in all corners of the state.  From the Panhandle to the Valley, from the Piney Woods to the Western Desert, the Texas landscape offers a wide variety of prolific oil and gas plays, each rooted with their own unique histories and complexities.  Josh helps his clients address the distinct issues present in the various plays with the delivery of tailored, scaled and time-sensitive title opinions, which both identify risks and offer simple and sensible solutions for the mitigation and resolution of operational concerns.  Josh also routinely provides upstream counsel to his clients and has assisted in the negotiation and drafting of leasehold assignments and agreements.

Josh is Board-Certified in Oil, Gas and Mineral Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization, and is a member of several industry organizations.
